Christmas is fast approaching and Santa’s Sleigh is nowhere to be found. Will lovable elves, Sprocket and Dibs be able to create a new sleigh in time or will Christmas have to be cancelled?

With audience participation, sing-alongs and a present from Santa for every child, Santa’s New Sleigh is the perfect festive treat.

Santa’s New Sleigh follows the news earlier this summer that a creative programme will return to the historic Pavilion Theatre within the Winter Gardens Blackpool though a partnership between venue operators Blackpool Entertainment Company and international producers Selladoor Worldwide.

Santa’s New Sleigh produced by Sam Bradshaw was originally written for the Curve Theatre Leicester, and has enjoyed sell out stints in Lichfield, Peterborough and London’s West End. Now in 2018 Sprocket, Dibs and Santa navigate through the sky’s and are set to land in Blackpool from Wednesday 19th – Monday 24th December 2018.

David Hutchinson, Executive Creative Producer, Selladoor Worldwide said “Having formed the partnership only a few months ago, we’re delighted to have programmed a magical seasonal offering for younger audiences that will sit alongside our own production of Wizard of Oz in the Opera House – giving Blackpool plenty of seasonal options this Christmas for all ages! It’s brilliant the Pavilion will be busy this Christmas.

The seasonal production joins already announced, Wizard of Oz which is set for a three-week festive season starring X-Factors Holly Tandy, Emmerdale’s Kelvin Fletcher and Radio Wave’s Scott Gallagher.

Venue spokesperson said, “The exciting festive announcement marks the first in partnership with Selladoor Worldwide through which the historic venue will see a new lease of life as a creative space.”

Santa’s New Sleigh will be an exciting and interactive adventure for families as they along with Dibs and Sprocket ensure Christmas goes without a hitch.

Along with Wizard Of Oz, the Winter Gardens Blackpool is set to become a hub this Christmas for the best festive entertainment all under one roof.

Tickets priced from £9.50 include a meet and greet with Santa and a gift for every child.
