North West End Live are proud to be working with local producer Jordan Smart on his latest production of “A One Night Stand With Musical Theatre” which due to heavy demand has moved from its original home of 53Two in Manchester where Kerry Ellis headlined in December to the Bierkeller housed within the Printworks complex.

For this production West End leading lady Louise Dearman is set to headline the event fresh from her recent London performances in Side Show at Southwark Playhouse which marked the productions UK Premiere. Louise is noted as the first person ever to play the two leading roles of Glinda and Elphaba in London’s production of Wicked!

Joining Louise on the 1st June will be a number of local musical theatre performers in a continuation of the highly successful format adopted for the previous A One Night Stand. Producer Jordan Smart has been passionate from the beginning that local performers should be given the opportunity to perform alongside established West End performers in the home towns.

Vocalists Nickie Simms and Emma Jane Ramsden are set to bring their powerhouse vocals to the Bierkeller stage. Both ladies have been performing musical theatre around the North West for a number of years hypnotising their audiences with show stopping performances.

Local theatre group MAODS from Mossley will also be on hand to perform songs from their recent critically acclaimed 5-star production of Parade which was cited by some as being the best amateur production ever staged. You can read our review here.

Finally, your host on the night is Miss Blair. Miss Blair is a rising star of the UK drag scene. She has been hosting shows and performing in Manchester for the past 3 years. She is also a musical theatre obsessive! She enjoys white wine and a good old show tune!

Tickets are still available for the event on the 1st June from www.northwestend.co.uk with a limited number of “meet and greet” tickets left which not only provide the best seats in the house, you also get a chance to meet and chat with Louise herself.
