The Commoners Choir have released a new song These Are The Hands based on Michael Rosen's poem.

The choir was formed by former Chumbawamba songwriter Boff Whalley, who also conducts them as they sing songs tackling society’s inequalities and injustices but also having fun doing so.

This new song celebrates the people who are risking their lives to do the often unrewarded everyday jobs and services that benefit us all, especially in this strange time of pandemic lockdown.

It was written in response to the weekly Thursday evening ‘Clapping for the NHS' as people across the nation stand in the street to recognise workers risking it all for others.
