Meighan Youth Theatre (MYT) have today announced the follow up to their critically acclaimed version of Ghost the Musical which played at the Waterside Centre in Sale back in August.
In 2016 the multi-talented group will be performing THE ADDAMS FAMILY bringing a whole new type of Ghost to the Waterside! Retaining the same production team from this year there is little doubt the show will be another runaway success with tickets sure to fly out of the door when they go on sale soon. And this year they will be adding a Saturday matinee to the show schedule so there is no reason not to take the kids.
THE ADDAMS FAMILY features an original story, and it's every father's nightmare. Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, has grown up and fallen in love with a sweet, smart young man from a respectable family - a man her parents have never met. And if that weren't upsetting enough, Wednesday confides in her father and begs him not to tell her mother. Now, Gomez Addams must do something he's never done before - keep a secret from his beloved wife, Morticia. Everything will change for the whole family on the fateful night they host a dinner for Wednesday's 'normal' boyfriend and his parents.
The show is presented once again in conjunction with Theatrical Rights Worldwide with the book by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice. Music and Lyrics by Andrew Lippa and based on Characters Created by Charles Addams.
Artistic Director, Producer and founder of MYT Joseph Meighan said “After every show we wonder how it would be possible to pick a bigger challenge and that was especially the case after GHOST... But it has been done! This is a huge show, lots (I mean LOTS) of female and male roles and it's probably the strongest and busiest show for ensemble we have ever presented! All in all, we are outrageously excited!!”
North West End will bring you full details of dates and tickets when they go on sale soon, in the meantime we advise you keep the first week of August free in your diaries and take a look at our review from Ghost the Musical.
