Storyhouse announced today that a new production of Howard Ashman and Alan Menken's musical Little Shop of Horrors will run on the main stage from Friday 10th May – Sunday 2nd June, to mark the multi award-winning arts centres second birthday.
The hugely experienced Laurie Sansom will succeed Conrad Nelson as Northern Broadsides Artistic Director and CEO from June.

As the preview performances of Waitress begin in London this weekend, it is announced that more tickets have been released and the show has extended its booking period to 19th October at the Adelphi Theatre. The production has also just announced that a limited number of day seats will be available to purchase in person from the theatre box office for £25 (from 10am, Mon-Weds performances only, subject to availability and at the box office’s discretion).
It is announced today that the London production of Waitress has cast its youngest company members.
